Perform mortgage servicing portfolio modeling and analysis
Communicate directly with clients during the valuation process
Work in a high pressure, team-oriented environment
Manage multiple projects concurrently and seamlessly switch priorities as needed
Manage various research projects, including tracking and analyzing industry benchmarks
Perform ad hoc projects to meet client specific requirements
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills:
Understanding of mortgage banking industry, mortgage servicing rights, and discounted cash flow analysis highly preferred
Strong analytic and problem-solving abilities and overall financial aptitude
Advanced Excel skills and discounted cash flow modeling experience
SQL and data management experience a plus
Excellent written and verbal business communication, including the ability to interact with clients directly and concisely summarize details
Comfortable with the challenges and opportunities that come with working for a smaller entrepreneurial organization
Sound business judgment
Education & Experience:
Undergraduate and/or advanced degrees in Finance, Financial Modeling, Accounting, or a related field preferred
Mortgage banking experience, valuation software, etc. a plus but not required
2-5+ years' experience preferred
