The Treasury Analyst reports to the Treasury Manager, and his/her main responsibilities are to perform Treasury operations and assist in different task related with treasury & financial processes. The Treasury Analyst must have full knowledge of all responsibilities mentioned below; however, their supervisor will assign specific tasks.
Responsibilities:
Supports cash requirement forecasting.
Process vendor payments and assist with month end reconciliations as needed including: the creation of new templates in banking platforms, execute ACH payments, Wire transfers (domestic and international), check payments, and record journal entry of treasury activity in our Financial System.
Ensure accurate maintenance of bank accounts, balances, bank/treasury systems and bank fees.
Maintain communication with banking institutions.
Prepare weekly ad hoc funding to all divisions based on requests.
Interaction with many different levels of the organization.
Contribute to the growth of the Treasury department by providing analytical and reporting expertise.
Work closely with A/P to prioritize invoices.
Serve as backup for our any division
Assist with Merchant Service needs
Special projects and other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree - Accounting or Finance degree.
2+ years of experience of banking preferred.
Previous treasury experience preferred - e.g. executing ACH and wire transfers, opening/closing bank accounts, foreign currency transactions, etc.
Strong skills in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) including pivot tables, VLOOKUP and Macros preferred.
Strong bank account reconciliation experience.
Strong understanding of Intercompany accounts.
Strong journal entry preparation experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment and meet deadlines.
