Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced FP&A Manager. The FP&A Manager will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities within the firm, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive budgets and forecasts. Monitor financial performance against budgeted targets and provide regular updates to senior management.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support decision-making processes. Evaluate investment opportunities, assess risk, and recommend strategic initiatives to optimize financial performance.
• Manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs and investment opportunities. Monitor banking activities and implement cash management strategies to maximize returns.
• Identify and assess financial risks, including market risk, credit risk, and liquidity risk. Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential losses.
• Stay informed about regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Prepare regulatory filings and coordinate with external auditors as needed.
• Assist in the development of long-term financial plans and strategies. Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and business growth.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• CPA or CFA preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, preferably in the insurance industry
• Strong understanding of financial principles, including GAAP and financial analysis techniques.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis using Microsoft Excel or similar tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues and clients at all levels.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
