This position is responsible for Controlling at Hirschvogel USA LLC. (HUS) and Hirschvogel Components Mexico S.A. de C.V (HCM). You report to the Head of HUS in disciplinary terms and to the Head of Controlling in technical terms.

Home Office Option: up to 60% but willingness to travel required

Your Main Tasks:
  • You ensure compliance with federal and local laws, internal policies and other applicable regulations, including the requirements of ISO/TS 16949 and ISO 45001.
  • You are responsible for the continuous improvement of work processes and activities and promote cooperation and mutual respect among colleagues.
  • In your position, you follow the company's mission statement, represent the company professionally and respectfully and maintain the confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • You manage projects both internally and internationally, following the 5S principles.
  • You will prepare profit and loss statements for budgets, forecasts and investments and plan and balance sheets.
  • You will report monthly on the performance of the legal entity/plant compared to budgets, forecasts and the previous year, including the maintenance of SAP and Unit4/Prevero.
  • You will maintain cost center accounting and analyze results using profit center and contribution margin reports.
  • You will carry out inventory valuations in accordance with IFRS and U.S. GAAP.
  • The planning of cost centers and the development of machine hourly rates are part of your tasks as well as the development and preparation of investment plans.

Your Profile:
  • Education: Degree in Finance or equivalent
  • Professional experience: Several years of experience in a comparable position
  • Specialist knowledge: Strong project management skills, Experience in SAP cost accounting, Familiarity with IFRA and U.S. GAAP., Experience with the implementation of controlling instruments
  • IT-Know How: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and SAP, preferably also knowledge in Unit4/Prevero
  • Personality: Exceptional analytical and conceptual skills
  • Language Skills: Business fluent in Englisch, preferably knowledge of German and Spanish
  • Willingness to travel: Able to travel as needed

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
