About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic Senior Financial Analyst to join the Corporate Finance team of a leading organization in the logistics and transportation sector. This role will play a critical part in providing financial analysis and strategic insights for the enterprise. As part of the Corporate Finance team, you'll partner with leadership to drive data-driven decision-making and support initiatives across the entire organization.
This position offers a unique opportunity to work on enterprise-level projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the overall financial strategy of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling to support enterprise-wide initiatives.
Prepare executive-level reports and presentations to communicate financial performance, forecasts, and recommendations.
Support the development and execution of the annual budgeting and long-term planning processes.
Analyze business trends, key performance metrics, and financial data to identify areas of improvement and growth opportunities.
Partner with department leaders to provide financial insights and recommendations for cost optimization and strategic projects.
Assist in month-end and quarter-end close processes, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and variance analysis.
Collaborate with the Corporate FP&A team on ad-hoc analyses and special projects, including mergers, acquisitions, and capital planning.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
2-5 years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or FP&A roles.
Strong expertise in Excel and financial modeling (experience with ERP systems and BI tools is a plus).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate financial insights to senior stakeholders.
High level of initiative and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
