PGP is looking to expand its team with the addition of an experienced investment banking professional. The new team member would join the Boston based office and work alongside the entire PGP team across our M&A mandates.
The associate role at PGP will offer the opportunity to gain significant experience and exposure to all aspects of a transaction process as well as senior leadership at the firm. The ideal candidate will have a track record of being a self-starter, strong proficiency in financial modeling, and a willingness to be a part of a growing and dynamic team.
Position Overview:
Working directly alongside senior bankers, an associate at PGP will have the opportunity to assist in the management and execution of transaction processes on behalf of our clients. An associate is directly responsible for the creation and oversight of client and buyer deliverables, interfacing with clients, and is a key support person in all phases of a transaction process. We are looking for a driven, hardworking, and experienced professional to join our fast-growing team. This is a perfect role for an individual at a large firm looking to make a switch to a boutique, long-term focused team.
This Associate level position will work directly with the firm's leadership team and be slotted immediately onto active deal teams. Among other things, this individual will:
Oversee financial analysis and modeling
Lead drafting of deal documents such as presentations and information memos
Facilitate content development, business development activities, and market coverage
Manage client due diligence and virtual data rooms
Qualifications
1-2 years of direct investment banking experience
Recently completed an undergraduate degree at a leading university
Desire to be in a fast-paced professional environment who can hit the ground running
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Solid organizational and time management skills
High level of attention to detail
Demonstrable self-starter and ability to complete and start new tasks without daily supervision
Proficient in Excel/PowerPoint
Previous healthcare investment banking experience preferred but not necessary
