The Accounting Manager is responsible for managing the general accounting functions of the Highridge Medical US based accounting team. This includes ownership of the month-end accounting close and reporting process, audit coordination, as well as local, government or statutory reporting needs. This role will be critical in helping establish and maintain consistency in the monthly accounting close cycle while enhancing accounting policies and best practices. The Accounting Manager is expected to identify and implement process improvements in a continuous effort to drive timely and accurate financial reporting. This role requires strong team leadership skills, specifically managing and building best-in-class, operationally focused teams and fostering effective and collaborate cross-functional relationships.
This role reports directly to the Controller and Chief Accounting Officer.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee the monthly US GAAP financial close process. This will occur through both direct management and indirect influence of the teams.
Month-end accounting close responsibilities including review and approval of journal entries, variance analysis and account reconciliations, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and internal policies.
Monitor and maintain financial reporting control structure and ensure proper coordination with auditors.
Oversee the analysis and diagnosis of KPI and productivity close metrics to optimize operational results over time.
Complete ad-hoc projects and requests as required

Extensive knowledge and understanding of general accounting principles.
History of management and leadership positions.
Motivated, self-starter willing to meet strict deadlines and time constraints.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy and manages time appropriately.
Education/Experience Requirements
Bachelor of Science in accounting or related field, Masters preferred.
Active CPA.
7+ years of related accounting experience across a mix of Big 4 and industry experience.
Experience with ERP systems and reporting tools (SAP, OneStream, Microsoft Office).
