Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and strategic Data Strategy and Product Manager to lead our data initiatives within integrations, governance, ingestion, warehousing, and automation. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with investment professionals, finance teams, investor relations, and technology specialists to enhance data capabilities and drive continuous improvement across our Chronograph and/or Anaplan platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive the data strategy and product development in collaboration with investment professionals, finance, investor relations (IR), and technology teams. Regularly communicate strategic vision through detailed product requirements, roadmaps, and presentations.

- Partner with end users in Finance and other cross-functional stakeholders to configure Chronograph and/or Anaplan, ensuring alignment with current and future process and functional requirements.

- Define and communicate the ongoing application and process support model, which includes business users, IT personnel, and third-party resources as applicable.

- Enhance the capabilities of business users and IT teams in using Chronograph and/or Anaplan through training, knowledge transfer, and day-to-day issue resolution.

- Work with vendor partners to advocate for desired enhancements and stay informed about new product/platform capabilities as they become available.

- Drive continuous functional and technical improvements across the Chronograph and/or Anaplan platforms.

- Improve cross-functional reporting within business units by implementing intuitive standardization, validations, audit controls, and automatic roll-forwards with Chronograph and/or Anaplan-enabled datasets.

- Identify future opportunities to leverage the platform across different corporate functions and business units, incorporating these opportunities into the data strategy roadmap.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or Accounting.

- Experience in accounting, private company valuations, and financial planning & analysis in a corporate or consulting capacity is preferred.

- Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated hands-on experience using Chronograph and/or Anaplan, with a focus on full lifecycle design and implementation.

- Strong understanding of data management concepts.

- Self-motivated individual willing to work, learn, and take ownership in a fast-paced team environment.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Experience in private equity, venture capital, or alternative investment asset industries in finance or technology is preferred.

- Prior experience in data integration, data analytics, and visualization/BI solutions is preferred.

- Prior technology consulting experience is strongly preferred.
