Job Description:

All team members will be required to work on-site three (3) days per week. The on-site days will be Wednesdays and Thursdays, with a third day to be selected by the employee in consultation with their leader. For the right talent, we are open to considering remote candidates. We will prioritize candidates who meet the key qualifications and demonstrate a strong alignment with the role's requirements.

The Head of Talent Acquisition provides strategic leadership for organization-wide talent acquisition (TA) needs, developing and implementing a comprehensive strategy to attract, recruit, and retain top talent. This leader will further develop TA governance, establish standards, and build an innovative employment brand strategy to position the organization as an employer of choice. By implementing forward-thinking recruiting strategies, programs, and initiatives, the Head of Talent Acquisition ensures the organization is well-equipped to meet current and future talent needs in a competitive market, supporting business growth and fostering a people-first culture.

With a focus on excellence and innovation, this role will lead the TA team to optimize processes, strengthen and diversify the talent pipeline, and adopt emerging recruitment trends and technologies. The Head of Talent Acquisition will create an operational framework that ensures consistency, compliance, and scalability while driving change management to embed new systems and standards across the organization. The Head of Talent Acquisition will develop and oversee a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy that integrates social media campaigns, employer branding, and proactive sourcing to attract top talent across all levels of the organization. Ensure social media campaigns are fully aligned with the overall talent acquisition and employer branding strategy, maintaining consistency, and maximizing impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition Strategy:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy.
  • Lead the full talent acquisition lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and onboarding, for roles ranging from entry-level to executive.
  • Establish a robust employer brand to position the organization as a desirable employer in existing and emerging markets.
  • Leverage creative sourcing strategies, including passive candidate engagement, social media, job boards, and industry networking.
  • Partner with external firms and vendors to maximize recruitment efficiency and ROI.

Leadership and Collaboration:
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the TA team, fostering a high-performing and innovative recruitment culture.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to anticipate talent needs and develop proactive recruitment plans.
  • Train hiring managers on structured interview methodologies to ensure consistency and effectiveness in the selection process.
  • Support organizational workforce planning by aligning recruitment efforts with business needs and future demand.

Operational Excellence:
  • Establish and enforce governance standards and best practices to ensure efficiency, scalability, and compliance across the TA function.
  • Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics to measure success, identify areas for improvement, and drive accountability.
  • Develop detailed documentation for recruitment processes and implement change management initiatives to ensure adoption of new tools and systems.

Workforce Planning:
  • Utilize business analytics to forecast talent needs quarterly and annually, supporting strategic workforce planning.
  • Build a robust talent pipeline to meet immediate and future hiring demands.
  • Partner with corporate HR and community leadership on compensation practices, including market benchmarking.

Required Qualifications:
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, including leadership roles in high-growth environments.
  • Proven success in building and scaling talent acquisition functions.
  • Experience recruiting healthcare professionals is preferred.
  • Deep expertise in recruitment methodologies, passive candidate engagement, and employer branding strategies.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and talent platforms; experience with BrassRing and Workday is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with a results-driven mindset to measure and improve recruitment outcomes.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute long-term plans and implement scalable talent processes.
