Job Summary

The Technical Project Manager will oversee complex technical projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and budgets. This role bridges the gap between technical teams and stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication, effective problem-solving, and successful project delivery. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background combined with excellent project management and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning and Execution
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Manage project budgets, risks, and dependencies to ensure successful outcomes.

Stakeholder Communication
  • Act as the primary point of contact between technical teams, stakeholders, and leadership.
  • Facilitate effective communication to ensure alignment on goals, progress, and challenges.
  • Prepare and present project reports, dashboards, and updates.

Team Leadership
  • Lead cross-functional teams, including engineers, developers, designers, and analysts.
  • Foster collaboration and accountability within the team to achieve milestones.
  • Mentor team members to improve their skills and productivity.

Risk Management and Problem-Solving
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Proactively address challenges to keep projects on track.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and industry best practices.

Process Optimization
  • Implement and maintain project management frameworks (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
  • Continuously improve workflows and methodologies to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on technical projects.
  • Strong technical background with knowledge of software development, IT infrastructure, and/or systems architecture.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, MS Project).
  • Solid understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Preferred:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of IT security and compliance standards.
  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
