Key Duties/Responsibilities
Will be responsible for meeting all sales targets set for their market segment.
The successful candidate will also manage and direct the on-property multi-segment sales efforts to achieve hotel revenue goals by proactively targeting current and prospecting new high value accounts in these markets to grow Indigo Williamsburg business.
Other responsibilities will include the implementation of effective sales deployment strategies to grow market share.
Monitoring customer experience from arrival to departure
Leading a seamless transition from sales to service in a timely fashion for quality service delivery and, where appropriate, orchestrating operational execution due to the complexity or some guest's requirements/needs.
Conducting site inspections, client entertaining, sales trips and trade shows as required.
Entertaining potential and existing clientele to develop and maintain relationships.
Creating and implementing quarterly sales action plans.
Meeting and exceeding quarterly sales goals.
Extremely high-level attention to detail.
Must be well versed and effective in selling high rated, luxury suites with a keen understanding of the lifestyle market.
Led by the General Manager, work in tandem with both the Director of Leisure & Entertainment Sales so leverage/piggyback and share corporate leads back and forth. Also work closing with the Catering Sales Manager at 'to handle all group and corporate leads funneled through.
Implementing Hotel Indigo's service strategy and representing the brand in all aspects of the sales process, with the goal of driving customer loyalty through service excellence.
Be required to be effective at handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems, as necessary.
Must be able to understand and evaluate complex information, data, etc. from various sources to meet appropriate objectives.
Must stay on top of current trends in their markets and maintain confidentiality of information.
Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written with all levels of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service oriented manner.

Be versed in IATA's and analyzing data and enter all sales activity daily into Sales & Catering (STS)
