We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrative and Data Entry Clerk to provide essential administrative support for the Transition Assistance Program (TAP) at a military installation. This congressionally mandated program assists service members in transitioning from military to civilian life, ensuring smooth and effective program operations.
The selected candidate will be responsible for data entry, administrative tasks, and program support, adhering to all installation safety protocols and workplace standards. This role requires professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain a neat, conservative appearance in alignment with military standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Entry & Management:
Accurately input and maintain participant records and program data.
Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive data.
Compile and generate reports for program reviews and compliance audits.
Administrative Support:
Manage program correspondence (emails, memos, letters).
Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and TAP-related workshops.
Maintain filing systems (both electronic and physical) for program documents.
Support document preparation, including reports and presentation materials.
Program Coordination:
Assist program leadership with day-to-day operations.
Coordinate logistics for seminars, career fairs, and briefings.
Ensure program participants receive relevant materials and resources.
Compliance & Safety:
Follow all work center and installation safety policies and procedures.
Maintain a professional, neat appearance and adhere to hygiene standards set by the program office.
Assist in ensuring compliance with congressionally mandated TAP guidelines.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of administrative or data entry experience, preferably in a military, government, or professional services environment.
Experience in program coordination or working with military transition programs is a plus.
Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
