Job Description: This is a multipurpose position in which duties range from carrying out basic patient care tasks as directed by a licensed therapist to overseeing a variety of operational activities for the department.
Posting Specifics
The schedule is a two-week rotation.
Week 1:
Monday 8:30am-4:30pm (7.5 hours)
Friday 8:30am-4:30pm (7.5 hours)
Saturday 9am-2pm (5 hours)
Week 2:
Tuesday 8:30am-4:30pm (7.5 hours)
Wednesday 8:30am-4:30pm (7.5 hours)
Friday 9am-2pm (5 hours)
Scope As a Rehab Aide you need to know how to:
Assist with patient care by performing tasks under the direction and immediate supervision of a licensed Therapist.
Assist with patient treatment with therapeutic exercise, functional activities, and/or modalities according to therapist direction.
Report to therapist of record on patients status, progress and/or tolerance to therapy so that the therapist can modify the treatment plan/goals as necessary.
Supervise and monitor patients for safety and patients are never left unattended.
Perform assigned cleaning duties so that treatment areas and equipment are maintained according to infection control guidelines.
Transport patients safely and in a timely manner without patient identification errors.
Prepare patients/equipment for treatment according to therapist/assistant instruction.
Effectively utilize critical thinking when problem solving.
Recognize self-limitations and take initiative to seek additional resources or consultation.
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. $18.29 - $21.53
