Audit Manager We are looking for an experienced Audit Manager to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for providing accurate auditing and assurance services to our clients in accordance with professional standards.
Position Overview
Lead and manage assigned audit engagements, ensuring quality control over financial reporting
Plan and execute audit engagements, using applicable audit programs and methodologies
Prepare audit reports, support documents, and workpapers
Provide guidance and support to audit staff
Manage client relationships
Review financial statements and coordinate audit efforts
Stay up to date on changing audit standards and regulations
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain relationships with clients and ensure that the audit engagement is completed in a timely manner
Manage the performance of audit staff and ensure that all audit work is completed in accordance with professional standards
Conduct thorough review of financial statements and supporting documents
Analyze complex financial data and provide meaningful insights
Ensure adherence to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and other applicable regulations
Identify and resolve any discrepancies or discrepancies
Develop and implement audit plans and programs
Qualifications
CPA certification
Minimum 5 years of public accounting experience in audit and assurance
Experience in nonprofit, not-for-profit, and/or government sectors is a plus
Strong understanding of accounting principles, audit regulations, and assurance standards
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
