Who are we looking for?
Our Southeast Engineering Design Organization is growing throughout the region and is looking for an Architect to join their team in Orlando, FL! In this role, you will assist with the design, evaluation and implementation of new buildings and building alterations for municipal and industrial clients across the United States.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
• Assisting Senior Architect by performing the routine aspects for architectural assignments
• Performing design calculations, sketches and technical comparisons
• Reviewing and editing project specifications
• Preparing and editing designs and drawings recommended by Senior Architect
• Preparing portions of project documents
• Researching code and regulatory requirements
• Researching design options, component specifications and document findings for Senior Architect and Job Manager
• Responding to contractor's questions and preparing alternate designs as needed under the guidance of Senior Architect
• Performing analysis and design retrofit of new and existing facilities
What you'll bring to the team:
• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Architecture accredited by the National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB)
• Minimum of 4 year's experience in the design of commercial, industrial, and/or municipal buildings
• Ability to communicate both conceptual designs and construction details in two-dimensional and three dimensional forms
• Working knowledge of BIM and CADD platforms such as Revit, AutoCAD and SketchUp
• Working knowledge of 3D scanning and data processing techniques
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multi-discipline Engineering teams to meet project objectives
• Willingness and ability to travel to project sites and client meetings as needed (primarily day trips)
