Position Overview The Program Manager - Civil Engineering will oversee and manage civil engineering projects from inception to completion. This role is essential in ensuring projects meet client specifications, comply with regulations, and are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage civil engineering projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives and client requirements.
Coordinate with various stakeholders including clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies throughout the project lifecycle.
Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans to ensure efficient project execution.
Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for residential and commercial developments, including subdivisions and MUDs.
Review and approve engineering designs, plans, and specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Manage the close-out process for projects, ensuring all contractual obligations are met and documentation is completed.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project team members.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
10+ years of experience in civil engineering project management.
Demonstrated experience in land development, site design, and managing residential and commercial development projects.
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and permitting processes.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
