Non-CA Pay Range (Annual):

$83,800.00 - $155,600.00

At Infinera, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. Your actual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. This role may be eligible for equity grants, discretionary bonuses, or commission payments. The amount of these incentives is based on the terms of the Company’s incentive plans, the Company’s financial performance, and/or individual employee job performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform month-end close activities, including account reconciliations, journal entries and account analysis.
  • Assist with preparation and review of monthly and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Participate in researching and preparing technical accounting memos on complex accounting issues
  • Actively involved in our SOX compliance.
  • Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
  • Collaborate closely with external auditors to manage requests during the audit process.
  • Monitor and maintain controls to ensure internal controls are adequate and operating effectively.
  • Participate in monthly/quarterly financial close review meetings to ensure appropriate accounting of transactions and accurate external reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams.
  • Provide support on system implementation projects.
  • Contribute to process improvements of policies, procedures and internal controls remediations.
  • Engage in ad hoc projects, analysis and initiatives, as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ years of accounting experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
  • Understanding of GAAP accounting principles.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong ability to manage, prioritize, and pivot between multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with colleagues.
  • Positive self-starter, with high level of ethics and integrity.
  • Experience with SAP, BPC, Blackline, Audit Board preferred.
  • Public accounting experience preferred.
  • CPA or eligible preferred.
