Job Description The Plant Controller is responsible for the accounting and internal controls in a plant environment. This position also supervises various financial transactions, administers the plant's cost control function, and coordinates the plant's forecasting and budgeting.
The Plant Controller Should Have
Knowledge of controlling, including standard cost and manufacturing variance concept
Experience providing financial analysis and building business cases
Proven ability to communicate across all levels of the organization
A strong desire to work in a manufacturing environment
The Plant Controller Will
Be responsible for planning functions, including budgeting and forecasting
Manage the balance sheet and P&L statement preparation
Supervise fixed assets of the facility
Supervise fixed assets of the facility
Execute monthly Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
Ensure accurate reporting of Lean Six Sigma project savings
Be part of the Plant Leadership Team and contribute to integral business decisions
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
At least 3 years of related work experience
Sarbanes-Oxley experience is preferred
Strong verbal/written communication skills and ability communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
Knowledge of Microsoft office applications, and experience with SAP and/or ERP systems preferred
Certified Manufacturing Accountant (CMA) is a plus
Additional Information What we offer at O-I: Salary Range: The expected salary range for this position is between $85,000 and $110,000 and includes a possible 12% quarterly incentive bonus. Actual pay will be adjusted based upon candidate experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
