We are looking for a CPA to join our growing team. Our company is a trust-only bank who's primary business activities are trust administration, investment management, financial planning, and tax preparation.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and laws.
Conduct tax research and analysis to identify potential tax-saving strategies.
Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients to minimize tax liabilities.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
Maintain and organize client tax files and documentation in QuickBooks.
Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial information and answer tax-related inquiries.
Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to provide accurate advice.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA certification is preferred.
Experience in tax accounting and preparation
Familiarity with accounting software, particularly QuickBooks.
