Senior Tax Manager Position Overview The Senior Tax Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing tax compliance and planning for our clients. This role involves providing strategic tax guidance, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and leading a team of tax professionals to deliver high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee the preparation and review of federal and state tax returns for various clients.
Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize tax positions for clients.
Lead a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support in tax compliance and planning activities.
Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on clients and the organization.
Provide high-level tax consulting services to clients, including tax planning and structuring advice.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure integrated tax strategies and compliance efforts.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's degree or LLM in Taxation preferred.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation is required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management or public accounting, with a strong focus on compliance and planning.
Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations and laws.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to lead and mentor a team, managing multiple projects and deadlines.
