Mechanical Engineer

6-9 Month Contract to Potential Hire Opportunity in Atlanta area

Are you a Mechanical Engineer ready for your next challenge? We're offering a contract to potential hire role in the Marietta, GA area.

Responsibilities:

• Turn customer specifications into complete mechanical systems.
• Collaborate with Electrical and Controls teams to optimize designs within budget.
• Create 3D models, manage clash detection, and develop 2D layout drawings.
• Perform critical calculations for system performance and safety.
• Document your decisions and communicate clearly with on-site teams.

Responsibilities:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience (or Associate degree with 5 years of experience).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D & 3D, and AutoDesk tools (Revit, Navisworks, Vault, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
