The successful candidate will: • Be hands-on and possess a strong sense for meeting project goals and deadlines while staying within the cost targets. • Possess strong engineering and technical problem solving skills • Possess strong communication skills • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills • Communicate effectively with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Health Safety & Environment, Supply Chain, and Product Management. • Demonstrate sound decision making based on tangible facts • Be able to multi-task effectively • Have experience with statistical software
Qualifications: • BS in Mechanical Engineering and 2+ years of experience in a related technical area • Possess proficient engineering skills in the areas of problem solving, experimentation, and data analysis. • Must be self motivated, enthusiastic, and have the ability to interact effectively with people in all areas of the company including Plant Operations, R&D, Quality, and Product Management. • Must be experienced with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. • Knowledge in Product Development is highly desirable. • Knowledge of filtration products, processes, and applications is a plus. • Mechanical design and experience with thermoplastics are highly desirable.
