The Opportunity There is an exciting Accountant opportunity within the Precision Seals Operations business resources team located in Mapleton. Caterpillar Precision Seals America (CPSA) manufactures metal face seals which are used in production of Cat prime products, as well as sold direct to Defense and OEM customers. CPSA is part of Wear Components/PSLD with multiple career progressions throughout.
Job Summary This role will provide exposure to Caterpillar manufacturing. As Normals/SCR (Standard Cost Revision) coordinator you will gain experience in Caterpillar's costing environment. As Internal Controls coordinator you will business partner with operations, engineering, supply chain and quality team members to ensure the facility is compliant with SOX controls.
What You Will Do
Normals and Standard Cost Revision (SCR) ownership
Cost decision support for operations and engineering functions
Current product cost monitoring including cost system maintenance and grief resolution
Commercial Pricing support
Month end closing support
Internal Controls Coordinator
Inventory accounting support (IDA/IRA program)
What You Will Have:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
Effective Communications : Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
Financial Reporting: Knowledge of processes, methods, and tools of financial reporting; ability to create and maintain accurate and thorough financial reports.
Analytical Thinking : Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
Financial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.

Summary Pay Range: $87,480.00 - $131,280.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
