ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Quality Management System (QMS):
Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System in compliance with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards including customer requirements or industry standards
Ensure that the QMS is effectively integrated into all operational processes.
Quality Assurance:
Oversee the quality assurance activities, including inspections, audits, and testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
Develop and implement quality control plans, procedures, and standards
Continuous Improvement:
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
Implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to identify and eliminate waste and reduce variability.
Training and Development:
Train and mentor quality staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
Ensure that all employees are aware of quality requirements and objectives.
Customer Focus:
Act as the primary point of contact for quality-related customer concerns and complaints.
Develop corrective and preventive actions to address customer feedback and improve customer satisfaction.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Stay updated with changes in regulations and standards affecting the manufacturing industry.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality documentation, including records of inspections, audits, and test results.
Prepare and present quality reports to senior management.
Supplier Quality Management:
Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming materials.
Conduct supplier audits and assessments to verify compliance with quality standards.
