The Mission
SPHEREA is looking for a Field Service Technician to strengthen its customer support team. After a training period, you will need to have a good understanding of how our products work (Automatic Tester for commercial aircraft avionics) and be able to assist customers for technical issues and troubleshooting.
The primary mission will be to support customer with technical requests over the phone and via e-mail, as well as manage replacement parts shipping to ensure fast return to service of customer equipment.
Responsibilities
Provide technical customer support via phone and e-mail (answer questions as needed, provide troubleshooting guidance)
Take care of spare parts shipment at the office for customer requests
Travel as needed on customer sites to:
Provide Training to the customers
Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
Install new equipment
Perform annual visits at customer sites
Build positive relationships with customers
Produce timely and detailed service reports
Requirements
Previous experience in Electronic and/or Avionics and/or Aerospace Test Equipment
Technical problem-solving skills
Good attitude and communication skills
High school diploma or higher
Ability to use Microsoft Office suite (Word and Excel)
Ability to travel within Americas at least 30% of the time

Previous Technical Customer Support experience
Remote electronic troubleshooting
Understanding of basic PC functions, electronic circuity components and functions
Able to read and interpret electrical/electronic schematic diagrams

The position is based in Tempe, AZ and is flexible: employees can work from home most days but must be able to regularly come to the office.
