ABOUT THE JOB:
This role will focus on optimizing manufacturing processes, driving efficiency improvements, and implementing Lean principles to enhance productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Lean methodologies, process engineering, and continuous improvement, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams in achieving operational excellence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
Analyze current manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement using Lean tools and methodologies.
Lean Implementation: Develop and execute Lean initiatives, such as value stream mapping, 5S, Kaizen events, SMED, and standardized work.
Lead continuous improvement projects to reduce waste, improve cycle times, and enhance workflow efficiency.
Collect, analyze, and interpret data to monitor process performance and identify trends or opportunities for improvement.
Work closely with production, quality, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment and integration of Lean principles across all operations.
Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate employees at all levels about Lean tools and practices.
Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of Lean initiatives and report progress to leadership.
Utilize root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams) to address operational challenges.
Ensure the long-term sustainability of Lean practices by fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
3 plus years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a similar role, with a focus on Lean methodologies.
Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is preferred.
Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and tools.
Proficiency in process mapping and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab, or similar software).
Project management experience, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
Knowledge of Six Sigma principles is a plus.
Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing software is desirable.
PAY AND BENEFITS
$75,000-$91,400K base salary, depending on experience.
