We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Director of Restaurant Technology to lead and optimize our technology systems and infrastructure across restaurant operations. This role requires extensive expertise with NCR Aloha POS to ensure seamless integration and functionality, driving efficiency and enhancing the guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Technology Operations Management: Oversee and prioritize technology projects and operational activities to align with business objectives.
System Expertise and Optimization: Lead the deployment, maintenance, and enhancement of NCR Aloha POS systems, ensuring robust performance and full system utilization. Additional systems include Hot Schedules, OpenTable, and Olo.
Leadership and Team Development: Mentor and manage a team of IT professionals, fostering an environment of continuous learning and excellence.
Vendor and Partner Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with technology vendors, ensuring high service levels and system performance.
Project Execution: Spearhead technology initiatives from concept to implementation, delivering projects on time and within budget.
Data Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain secure systems in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Technical Troubleshooting: Provide expert-level support for resolving complex technical issues, minimizing operational disruptions.
Staff Training: Develop and implement training programs to empower staff in leveraging technology effectively.
Innovation and Industry Leadership: Stay informed about emerging trends and innovations in restaurant technology, ensuring the company remains a leader in the industry.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
Experience: 7-10 years in technology leadership within the restaurant or hospitality industry, with a strong focus on NCR Aloha POS systems.
Technical Skills: Deep proficiency with NCR Aloha POS; experience with Hot Schedules, OpenTable, and Olo preferred. Additional familiarity with Elo, FreedomPay, Paytronix, Data Central, ServiceNow, and RingCentral is a plus.
Leadership Excellence: Proven ability to inspire and lead high-performing teams.
Project Management: Strong project management background with a track record of successful technology implementations and operational improvements.
Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication capabilities.
