Technical Skills:
Certified Application Developer - ServiceNow (CAD): You must have completed the CAD certification before starting the role. This certification focuses on ServiceNow application development.
Experience with REST integrations: Experience in developing flows with multiple REST API integrations to connect ServiceNow with other systems or applications.
ServiceNow Integration: Ability to integrate ServiceNow with REST-based Web services to automate and streamline processes.
Catalog Development: Experience in catalog development within ServiceNow, including creating variables, UI actions, client scripts, and business rules. This involves developing workflows and forms for ServiceNow's Service Catalog.
Client Scripting: Skilled in client scripting using languages such as HTML, JavaScript, and CSS to build interactive user interfaces and workflows.
Data Import/Batch Jobs: Experience in Data Import jobs and batch job development for automating data transfers and integrations in ServiceNow.
Code Check-In & Coding Standards: Knowledge of the code check-in process and the importance of following coding standards when developing ServiceNow forms in a global scope.
Incident Support: Experience in providing incident support, which involves diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues that arise in the ServiceNow environment.
Preferred Skills:
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - ITSM: A preferred certification for IT Service Management (ITSM) within ServiceNow, with a focus on the security domain. This certification showcases expertise in implementing and managing ServiceNow ITSM solutions.
Location: Ability to work from USAA's offices in Plano or San Antonio, which indicates the geographical location for the role.
Job Responsibilities:
Cybersecurity Focus:
Understand Client's Cybersecurity Environment: You must be able to clearly understand the client's cybersecurity environment and the products associated with it. This requires familiarity with the specific security tools and technologies in use.
Monitor, Configure, and Troubleshoot Cybersecurity Issues: You will be responsible for monitoring the cybersecurity tools and systems in place, configuring them properly, and troubleshooting any security-related issues that arise.
Analyze and Validate Cybersecurity Incidents: When cybersecurity incidents occur, you will need to analyze them in detail, validate the incidents, and work with the Level 3 (L3) team to collect Root Cause Analysis (RCA) data, logs, and other relevant information to resolve the issue.
