Title: ServiceNow Developer

Location: Gainesville, GA 30507 (Hybrid)

Type: Direct Hire, Full Time Permanent.

Industry: Hospitals and Healthcare.

Hybrid - One month onsite for training, then one day onsite per month.

Position Overview:

Our client seeks a highly skilled ServiceNow Developer with a blend of developer and architect expertise to design, configure, and maintain their ServiceNow platform. In this hybrid role, you will lead platform development, integrations, and automation while ensuring system health and alignment with organizational goals. As a key technical expert, you will work closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that meet evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain workflows, integrations, and automation on the ServiceNow platform.

Manage the full ServiceNow platform lifecycle, including system upgrades, module deployment, and enhancements.

Oversee configuration, customization, and scripting (e.g., UI Actions, Client Scripts, Business Rules, Script Includes).

Develop and manage integrations with third-party systems using APIs, SOAP, REST, and ETL tools.

Perform advanced troubleshooting (L3) and ensure platform stability and usability.

Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical stories and best-practice solutions.

Administer user/group permissions and access control lists (ACLs).

Implement ITIL best practices and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Create and deliver platform demos, maintain technical documentation, and conduct training sessions.

Lead efforts to implement and maintain the CMDB and other ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM, ITBM).

Ensure platform security, system hygiene, and adherence to DevOps methodologies.

Qualifications:

Education & Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

In lieu of a degree, we will consider individuals who maintain a ServiceNow CSA or CAD certificate along with 5+ years of SaaS/PaaS development experience.

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required.

Certified Application Developer (CAD) is a plus.

Experience:

5+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow, including platform design, development, and administration.

Proficiency in customizing ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITBM, CMDB) and scripting with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and JSON.

Extensive experience with integrations and data transformation between ServiceNow and third-party systems.

Strong background in ITSM processes and ITIL frameworks.

Skills:

Advanced scripting and development expertise with tools such as Glide API, Business Rules, and Client Scripts.

Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.

Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for complex issues.

Effective communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

Ability to work in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities and deadlines.
