Job Description:

Our client, a science-related association, is seeking an Editorial Coordinator to join their team. This role involves proofreading pages and galleys for grammar, style, and syntax. The ideal candidate will be quick, accurate, and adaptable, with an ability to manage multiple tasks.


About the Job:
Proofread pages and galleys for grammar, style, and syntax.
Ensure quick and accurate proofreading.
Record document article numbers in the CTS database.
Proofread using Adobe Acrobat and web tools.


About You:
Proven experience in web proofreading.
Familiarity with MS Word, Adobe Acrobat
Bachelor's degree is required.
Understanding of scientific terminology is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.


Position Details:
Temporary-to-hire position
Pays $22/hr on the contract side, $48K once perm
Hybrid on-site 2 days/week in Washington, DC.
