Litigation Legal Assistant (Hybrid) - Direct Hire at Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC in Cleveland, Ohio

Job Description:

Beacon Hill Legal is looking for an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant for a hybrid position with a top full-service Cleveland law firm. The Legal Assistant will support the firm's Cleveland based litigators with a busy practice including trial work. This position has a hybrid work schedule. The working hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm. Duties include, but aren't limited to:

• Preparing, proofreading, and editing various pleadings and legal documents including briefs with tables of content and tables of authorities;


• E-filing documents in various jurisdictions in state and federal court, including utilizing PACER;


• Communicating with clients, opposing counsel, expert witnesses, courts, etc.;


• Scheduling and maintaining attorney calendars;


• Making travel arrangements for attorneys and preparing and submitting expense reports;


• Creating and maintaining files in iManage;


• And more!

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of litigation experience, ideally dealing with MDL or class action litigation;


• Trial preparation experience;


• Proficiency with MS Office.
