Beacon Hill's client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join their team. This position is responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of logistics operations with a focus on quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service experience, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute logistics tasks with a focus on quality and efficiency in accordance with office and company policies, as well as standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Provide shipment information, create orders, activate shipments, build and assign loads, and schedule appointments.
Track and trace shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve issues as needed.
Monitor task boards and assigned email accounts, responding promptly to customer and carrier requests.
Document events and activities in accordance with SOPs, utilizing experience and training to follow escalation procedures when necessary.
Follow through on customer or carrier requests, ensuring satisfaction and escalating issues when required.
Validate load data for accuracy in systems, adhering to company and customer standards.
Perform additional duties as assigned based on team and country-specific requirements.
Qualifications:
Required:
High school diploma or GED.
Previous customer service experience.
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Previous customer service experience in a call center or similar environment.
Strong communication, prioritization, and time management skills.
Prior work experience that required attention to detail and accuracy.
Demonstrated ability to work in a diverse and inclusive work environment.
