Job Description:

A well-established law firm located in Pittsburgh is looking to add a Bankruptcy Paralegal to their team! They are searching for candidates with experience in bankruptcy, foreclosure, tax, or municipal matters. This role is ideal for individuals seeking a long-term career opportunity. Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with attorneys on bankruptcy matters such as Proofs of Claim, plan objections, litigation case management, and processing mail and ECF emails.


• Handling creditor-related bankruptcy tasks, including reviewing petitions, motions, claims, and notices.


• Preparing and e-filing bankruptcy pleadings.


• Communicating with clients, debtors, and Trustees regularly.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of bankruptcy, tax, municipal, or foreclosure law experience.


• Bachelor's degree, Paralegal Certificate, or 3+ years of relevant experience.


• Proficient in federal and state court e-filing systems (CE/ECF, PACER).


• Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Skills.
