Role Overview:

The Senior Vice President of Compensation will play a critical role in developing, implementing, and evaluating our compensation programs, ensuring they are competitive, compliant, and aligned with business objectives. This position will report to the Global Chief Operating Officer and work closely with HR, finance, and senior leadership to design and optimize base pay structures, incentive programs, and other compensation initiatives.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Program Management: Oversee the administration of salary structures, incentive plans, and equity programs, ensuring they are effectively managed and processed within the Company's Financial and HR systems.
  • Compensation Strategy Development: Design and implement comprehensive compensation strategies that support the organization's goals and are competitive within the industry.
  • Budget Management: Work with Global CFO and COO to develop and manage the compensation budget, ensuring alignment with financial objectives and operational needs.
  • Executive Compensation Management: Work with senior leadership to develop and manage executive compensation packages, including base salary, bonuses, equity awards, and other incentives, ensuring alignment with company performance and shareholder interests.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct regular market analyses to benchmark compensation practices against industry standards, ensuring competitiveness and compliance.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all compensation programs comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including FLSA and EEO requirement.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with HR, Finance, and departmental leaders to address compensation-related issues and provide guidance on pay decisions.
  • Communication: Prepare materials for communication to senior leadership and present to applicable Compensation Committees.
  • Compensation Disclosures: Oversee the disclosure of executive and director compensation in compliance with applicable regulations.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in compensation management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Certifications: Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or similar certification is highly desirable.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in compensation software and HRIS systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of compensation laws and regulations including Compensation Discussion and Analysis (CD&A) disclosures
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.

Preferred Experience:

  • Background supporting compensation within an alternative investment management firm, including knowledge of partnership-based compensation programs, executive compensation, and other equity programs.
  • Familiarity with incentive compensation programs, long-term incentives, and equity-based rewards.
  • Experience with Workday Financial and HCM.
