The Welding/Fabrication Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring production targets are met efficiently and safely, and managing a team of 20-50 employees
This role is critical in maintaining a commitment to exceptional craftsmanship and quality in custom ambulance production
Key Responsibilities
Oversee welding and fabrication activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
Coordinate and supervise employees to meet production schedules and objectives
Review and interpret blueprints and specifications for welding requirements
Perform quality control checks on welding work
Manage inventory of welding consumables and equipment
Maintain accurate records and produce reports as needed
Provide training, support, and guidance to department personnel
Evaluate employee performance and recommend personnel actions
Qualifications
3-5 years of people management and development experience[query]
Strong leadership and communication skills
Proficiency in welding processes and fabrication techniques
Ability to read and interpret welding processes according to industry standards
Experience with manufacturing processes and equipment
