PRIMARY PURPOSE: To oversee and lead the reconciliation workflow in the Benefit Eligibility Department while ensuring regulatory compliance and to communicate and maintain strong relationships with Third Party Administrators.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Processes contribution reports received from client companies. • Bank and client contribution reconciliations. • Contacts client companies regarding discrepancies. • Enters new and revised enrollments and requests • Attaches coverage information for medical, dental, vision, life, employee assistance programs, DUB and disability plans to the employee/dependent records as required. • Communicates extensively by phone, email and letter with client companies and covered members. • Time/Function Allocation
Qualifications
Education & Licensing
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
Experience
At least three (3) years in an insurance employee benefit, accounts receivable or payable and/or payroll position with a medium to large employer.
