Seeking a proven track record of successfully managing a team of buyers (minimally 3) in a corporate setting with multiple locations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and fostering a relationship with our suppliers and vendors. You will also oversee the purchasing strategy, planning integrity, and purchasing training process.
Responsibilities
Procure parts and materials at negotiated rate
Develop a supply and production plan to ensure proper inventory levels
Create and monitor the performance of the purchasing strategy
Support our purchasing staff to meet established KPIs like inventory turns, order fill, cost reduction.
Qualifications
BS in Supply Chain or related field
Strong leadership/negotiation skills
5 years' of sourcing experience and 3 years in a leadership role
