Currie & Brown is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support our Engineering and Project Management teams. The role involves managing major material orders for the Transmission & Distribution sector, ensuring efficient tracking, documentation, and communication throughout the procurement and delivery process.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate major material orders placed by the Engineering Department.
Collaborate with the Project Management team to create requisitions and track purchase order statuses.
Manage invoices and maintain detailed records of received materials.
Inspect materials for any damage or missing items and update inventory in the enterprise management system.
Provide regular status reports, respond to inquiries, and inform the Project Management team of any issues with received materials.
Gain exposure to specialized materials and equipment design within the Transmission & Distribution sector.
Qualifications and Skills:
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for effective record-keeping.
Proficiency in data entry and competency in Microsoft Excel.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Experience:
This position is ideal for either a recent graduate looking to start their career in the industry or an experienced coordinator with 3+ years in a similar role.
