ProTech Services Group is searching for an Office & Accounting Manager for an established Memphis-based commercial electrician company. This individual will work Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
The Office & Accounting Manager will manage both financial and administrative tasks to ensure smooth and efficient office operations. This role requires handling financial records, processing invoices, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, managing office staff, and performing various administrative duties to support the management team.
Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day financial operations and record-keeping
Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
Prepare monthly financial statements and reports
Entering Billing on 3rd party sites (Ariba, Corrigo, Avetta)
Payroll Tax deposits and entries
Startup Project Documentation for new projects (pre-quals)
Annual reports for all the companies for each state they are registered
Complete Annual reports for all the companies for each state they are registered
Assist with ISN Safety Audits
Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
Support the management team with various administrative tasks
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2-4 years of experience in accounting or finance role
Proven experience in administrative roles
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
Familiar with 940, 941 and 1120 IRS reports and entries
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Construction Background would be preferred
Job Power Efficient
Familiar with pulling construction permits
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
