Abacus is looking for a Service Product Manager and ITAD Specialist.
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced ITAD Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the PC returns management space, strong relationships with ITAD partners, and a passion for enabling circular logistics. This role will be critical in driving our mission to create sustainable and efficient asset recovery solutions, while also enhancing our software capabilities and identifying key partners to create a comprehensive market offering.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain relationships with ITAD partners and other key stakeholders in the PC returns management ecosystem.
Analyze and optimize the disposition of returned assets using our AI-based software, considering factors such as market valuations, repair and refurbishment costs, and internal parts demand.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improving circular logistics processes and reducing waste.
Monitor industry trends and market conditions to ensure our solutions remain competitive and effective.
Provide expertise and guidance on best practices for asset recovery, refurbishment, and recycling.
Support the development and implementation of strategies to enhance the value of returned assets and maximize recoveries.
Identify and establish partnerships with key players in the industry, including repair and refurbishment centers, recycling facilities, and secondary market platforms.
Work closely with our software development team to provide insights and feedback that will enhance our AI-based software capabilities.
Implement and optimize parts harvesting strategies to meet internal parts demand and support circular logistics.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in the PC returns management space and familiarity with ITAD partners.
Strong understanding of circular logistics and the principles of sustainability.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
Experience with AI-based software solutions is a plus.
Passion for sustainability and reducing electronic waste.
Experience in identifying and establishing strategic partnerships.
Ability to provide actionable feedback to software development teams.
Knowledge of parts harvesting processes and strategies.
