This position provides daily support to the Site Operations department, ensuring smooth office and lab operations at the Waltham facility. Responsibilities include meeting setups, lab support, mailroom tasks, supply management, vendor coordination, and event planning assistance. The role involves physical tasks, such as lifting and carrying items up to 50 lbs.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and break down meeting and conference rooms, including furniture reconfiguration and catering arrangements.
Assist with event planning by recommending furniture layouts and ensuring compliance with capacity restrictions.
Maintain inventory of office and kitchen supplies.
Provide glassware washing and autoclaving services for laboratory areas.
Perform mailroom tasks and assist with shredding services.
Water plants and supervise onsite vendors.
Support other site operations tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree or higher preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field (lab experience preferred).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office or equivalent tools.
Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Strong multitasking, organizational, and customer service skills.
Positive attitude, dependability, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
