LHH is seeking a Concrete Estimator for a direct hire role in Charlotte, NC! The ideal candidate has 2+ years' experience in estimating within concrete construction. This position is fully in office Monday - Friday.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Analyze scope requirements and construct detailed bids based on paper or digital drawings.
Cultivate strong relationships with General Contractors (GC) and oversee bid requests and quotes.
Gain a deep understanding of bid processes and requirements, including site visits when necessary.
Ensure adherence to company guidelines for labor and material costs to maximize project profitability.
Manage the entire bid submission process, from receipt of drawings to final bid submission.
Requirements:
2+ years of experience reading drawings and developing estimates within the concrete construction industry
Team player with a focus on building internal and external relationships.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Plan Swift, or BlueBeam, and ability to read and understand construction drawings.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Self-motivated, punctual, and capable of managing multiple tasks under moderate time-sensitive pressure.
