As a Marketing Strategist at Mojo, you will be responsible for the overall strategic direction, coordination, and implementation of recurring monthly marketing and nonrecurring strategy, website or branding projects ensuring consistency with marketing best practices, clear communication, company systems, creative contributions, client commitments and goals.
Day-to-Day Role as a Marketing Strategist
As a Marketing Strategist, which is comparable to account manager and project manager roles at other agencies, you will have a specific group of clients that you will manage and oversee on a month-to-month basis. You will be responsible for creating and managing a goal-focused strategy for your clients. You will also work closely with the Creator team on your accounts to guide the strategy and decide why we are going to create content, where we are going to distribute it, and how to interpret the data based on KPIs. At Mojo we strive to empower each of our team members to take ownership of their clients goals and collaboratively do whatever you can to create and execute successful campaigns.
Human Skills that translate into successful Mojo team members (Mojies)
Communication - is the most important part of our jobs in marketing and affects every aspect of what we do. Which means, you strive to always find new ways to communicate to different audiences, as well as new ways to listen and understand different perspectives and personalities both with client and internal teams.
Communication and relationships come naturally to you. You can't always explain it, but you know what to say, and when to say it. You can make friends and have a conversation with anyone and in any environment.
You live and breathe digital technology - it's a huge part of the way you live and work and you strive to find efficiencies and opportunities within it.
You're a natural-born storyteller who loves sharing and capturing an audience with a mesmerizing message or design.
You are an inspired and passionate problem-solver - whether the client says they want it to "pop", or we aren't reaching our goals, or we can't figure out what is going on, you are a detective dedicated to identifying the problem, and working to find a creative solution.
Collaboration - you love working with other teams (from designers to developers, to strategists and clients) in order to achieve collective goals.
You are able to hold yourself and others accountable in the moment with empathy and understanding.
You are able to successfully collaborate with a team, as well as set goals and accomplish tasks on your own.
You make mistakes, learn from them and are better next time.
