Job Description Summary

The Sr. Associate Director of Projects will be responsible for the onsite coordination of all design services, construction and all other professionals engaged in the planning, design and implementation of major capitol renovations, facility renewal fund projects and mechanical upgrades within the Wharton School's one million square foot campus. Project Management responsibilities run from five year master planning for both infrastructure and space, project inception through final closeout and include working with multiple departments to coordinating work during for duration of the process. In addition, the Sr. Associate Director of Project will serve as the primary liaison between Wharton and Central Facilities Project Management and will be accountable for tracking the project budget, maintaining schedules and the communication of day to day updates to the end users.




Job Description



BA/BS in Construction Management, Design, Architecture or field related to design/construction management or equivalent combination of education and work experience may be acceptable. At least five years of progressive experience that includes supervision of building renovations and/or new construction projects as well as budget preparation and administration. The Senior Associate Director of Project Management must have strong analytic, problem-solving, negotiating and organizational skills as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.
