An established law firm is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Contract or Contract-to-HireAssociate Attorney with expertise in areas such as bad faith, personal injury, premises liability, insurance coverage, employment, and/or construction defect litigation. Responsibilities
Preparation and participation in trials, arbitrations, mediations, and settlement conferences
Case development, including investigation and analysis of complex legal issues
Drafting motions, pleadings, and analytical correspondence in Federal and District Courts
Conducting depositions, procedural hearings, oral arguments, and pre-trial preparations
Collaborating with litigation teams to drive case strategies, manage expert witnesses, and develop innovative legal solutions
Qualifications
Active license in good standing with the Colorado State Bar
Minimum of 1-2 years of litigation attorney experience
Exceptional skills in brief writing, critical thinking, and problem-solving
High proficiency with tools like Westlaw, Pacer, Clio, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Nuance Power PDF, and Microsoft 365
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, teams, and courts
A self-motivated and independent professional with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
Rate: $40-$43/hr.
