Litigation Associate - Lemon Law Defense - Hybrid
A well-regarded defense litigation firm in Brentwood is seeking two Litigation Associates to join their busy lemon law defense practice. The firm represents high-profile clients, including luxury automobile brands, and offers a collegial culture with strong mentorship from senior attorneys and partners. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on litigation experience and develop trial skills.
Position Details
Location: Brentwood, CA (on-site; hybrid flexibility available after training)
Practice Area: Lemon Law Defense Litigation
Billable Hours: 1850 annually
Responsibilities
- Respond to discovery and handle various stages of litigation
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners for mentorship and guidance
- Participate in significant trial work once trained and up to speed
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Active membership in the California State Bar
- Basic litigation experience (responding to discovery, etc.); lemon law experience is not required
- Strong interpersonal skills; personality and cultural fit are highly valued
