A prestigious law firm in Los Angeles is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its growing team. This role involves supporting the litigation department and working closely with experienced attorneys on high-end business law matters, including M&A, corporate law, entertainment, real estate, contracts, intellectual property, trademark, and copyright. Position Details
Location: Los Angeles, CA (onsite preferred; open to hybrid arrangements).
Work Schedule: Core hours Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM.
Practice Area: Open to both plaintiff and defense work, focusing on high-end business law cases.
Experience Level:
Mid-to-senior level associates with 3-5+ years of experience.
Preference for candidates from top-tier schools with strong writing skills.
Partner-level candidates with a portable book of business ($400K+ preferred, $200K+ considered).
Bar Admission: Must be admitted to practice in California.
Base Pay: $180,000 annually.
Bonuses: 40% of what you settle and 20% of any business you originate.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with senior attorneys on litigation matters in state and federal courts.
Handle tasks across a variety of high-end business law practice areas, including M&A, corporate transactions, entertainment, real estate, intellectual property, and more.
Draft pleadings, motions, legal documents, and business contracts.
Participate in case strategy discussions and assist with trial preparation.
