Job Description:

Our client, a reputable law firm specializing in immigration law, is seeking a dedicated Immigration Attorney with demonstrated expertise in asylum and family-based immigration cases. This temp-to-hire position offers the opportunity to work closely with clients navigating complex immigration processes, with potential for permanent placement based on performance.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Represent clients in asylum applications, hearings, and interviews, ensuring meticulous preparation and adherence to legal standards.

  • Manage family-based immigration cases, including petitions, waivers, and adjustment of status applications.

  • Conduct in-depth legal research and draft briefs, motions, and supporting documents for court and administrative proceedings.

  • Provide compassionate and effective counsel to clients from diverse backgrounds.

  • Stay current on changes in immigration law and policy to provide informed guidance and advocacy.




Qualifications:



  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience handling asylum and family-based immigration cases.

  • Exceptional communication, research, and legal writing skills.

  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload with attention to detail and deadlines.

  • Fluency in Spanish or another relevant language is strongly preferred.
