Job Description:

Adams & Martin Group is seeking a Real Estate Legal Assistant for a law firm in Downtown Minneapolis. This is a direct hire opportunity with a hybrid work model.



The Legal Assistant's responsibilities include:



  • Coordinating, scheduling, and calendaring real estate closings, meetings, and deadlines.

  • Performing investigative research and administrative tasks related to real estate transactions.

  • Drafting, editing, and proofing various legal documents and correspondence, including purchase agreements, lease agreements, and closing statements.

  • Preparing and filing documents with relevant agencies and courts as needed.

  • Communicating with attorneys, paralegals, clients, and other stakeholders.

  • Managing calendaring and docketing tasks to ensure compliance with transaction timelines.

  • Assisting with organizing and maintaining electronic and physical case files.

  • Preparing closing binders and assisting with post-closing activities.

  • Data entry and database management.

  • Performing any additional duties as needed under the direction of paralegals and attorneys.




Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or a related field preferred.

  • 2+ years of experience as a legal assistant or paralegal supporting attorneys in real estate law.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.

  • Familiarity with document management software and e-filing systems.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
