Job Description:

Adams & Martin Group is looking for an experienced Medical Malpractice Paralegal.


Responsibilities include reviewing and categorizing documents, preparing discovery and responses, obtaining medical records from clients and health care facilities, and coordinating attorney schedules.


Communicating with clients, opposing counsels, and expert witnesses within the health care industry when the attorney is not available to inform them of case developments.


Requirements
* Minimum 3 years' experience in litigation.
* Prior experience with medical records and medical summaries needed.
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
* Mediation preparation and trial work.
* Solid understanding of Document Review.
* Attention to detail and accuracy, and discretion.
* Stable work history.
* Confidence in taking ownership of projects, writing and negotiating, planning and organizing.
* Critical thinking, problem solving, ability to work independently.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Adobe are required.

Knowledge of court systems/instructions is a must. Candidate should possess excellent time management, communication, research and writing skills. Candidate must be capable of working independently and have the ability to manage a demanding workload of complex medical malpractice cases, including medical summary/chronology and be interested in trial work.
